Great Rooms Missed that T.H.E. Show
January 11th, 2007 — By Wayne GarciaUpdated Tri-Planar Tonearm

It’s a pity that T.H.E. Show’s now isolated location at the St. Tropez Hotel did not get more visitors this year. Even if it is a long trek from the action at the high-end’s new digs at the Venetian, there were many excellent products to be seen.
A highlight for me was found in a terrific sounding room comprising Classic Audio Reproduction’s latest horn-loaded speaker, Atma-Sphere tube electronics, and the Kuzma Stabi Reference turntable outfitted with latest iteration of the classic Tri-Planar pickup arm. The most obvious improvement is found on the main post, where an easy to read VTA gauge allows users to effortlessly tweak and repeat a cartridge’s vertical tracking angle. A review of the new model will appear soon. Price and availability not known at press time.
