[CES 07] MP3 Player Passes Flash Memory Savings on to You
January 10th, 2007 — By editorZVUE Model 260 (summer, $99)

Jan 10 - Because flash memory prices are falling faster than Britney Spears’ reputation, ZVUE is one of a growing number of MP3 makers eschewing the inclusion of built-in memory and passing the savings on to you.
This iPod doppelganger has no built-in memory. Instead, the 260 will likely come with a 128 MB card, but the SD card slot will be able to handle up to 4 GB. But aside from this technical innovation, ZVUE is creating its own iTunes-like shop, ZVUE.com, where you’ll be able to buy movies, TV shows and music videos.
