Rocky Mountain Audio Fest: Audio Analogue
October 23rd, 2006 — By Neil GaderAudio Analogue of Italy has been on the move recently revamping its lineup to stunning effect. However, one particular component (displayed only) caught me eye due to this particular genre’s rarity in high end circles.
The Enigma is a tube-hybrid, CD-receiver of unique dimensions designed to be inconspicuous yet high performance capable. Its deep rectangular design allows most of the chassis to disappear to the back of a shelf creating the illusion of a tiny footprint when viewed head-on. It outputs a healthy 54Wpc and is equipped with a tube preamp section and an integrated resistors network volume control. A remote control is included. There are dual back panel inputs. Frankly its all aluminum looks are to die for. Paired with the right compact speaker it should give new meaning to the term “lifestyle high end”.

You REALLY need a copy editor for these articles.
Comment by John Smith October 25th, 2006 @ 9:50 amIt’s embarassing to a “magazine” of this caliber to get its possessives wrong (it’s vs. its).
FOR SHAME!
I dig it. Love to visit their factory
Comment by Donald October 25th, 2006 @ 11:25 pmTo add to John Smith’s comment. The 2nd sentence should have read “caught my eye”.
Second the motion - need a copy editor.
Comment by Jose Posis October 26th, 2006 @ 1:24 pmSorry John, check the dictionary. Its is the possesive form; it’s = it is, the contraction form, equivalent to don’t for do not.
Regarding the product, looks convenient, but I am(I’m) a separates man.
Comment by Maurice October 26th, 2006 @ 10:07 pm“Caught me eye” is also correct when the author is an Irishman or a Pirate.
