Building on is stellar reputation with these speakers, Tannoy has expanded its lineup to include speakers suited for use with ever popular wall-mounted flat-panel televisons. Tannoy wanted to preserve the acoustic integrity of its Arena line, which is famous for its dual-concentric drive units. The Highline 500 is based on a 4-inch version of these units, combining a multi-fiber paper pulp LF cone and titanium domed HF unit with a neodymium magnet system.

These are D’Appolito configurations, with the high frequency unit mounted between two midrange drivers, providing a wider coverage area. The line includes tower speakers for L/R, a center channel, and rear satellites.
