NuVo Technologies will announce the Local Source Amplifier, which is the in-wall solution to providing amplification to any local source. Driven by the craze for non-amplified personal players, this little gadget quickly converts any local source to an amplified source for use with your whole home audio system.

It’s efficient, Philips Semiconductor, design allows this amplifier to fit in a standard single-gang ring, within the zone wall for convenient, quick plug operation. This simple system provides the enjoyment of high fidelity audio from your TV, portable device or other local source using the in-wall or in-ceiling speakers in the room.

Available in three sku’s, the single zone solution, NV-LSA40S includes both the 40-watt Local Source Amplifier and the 50-watt power supply for the complete solution in a single zone. For a customized local source applicaton, the NV-LSA40PDS and NV-LSA40 can be used together to power and amplify a separate source in each room, up to 4 rooms. The NV-LSA40PDS Local Source Power Distribution Hub, supplies up to 4 zones with power, and retails for $179. The NV-LSA40, 40-watt Local Source Amplifier can be purchased at $99 retail, each to be used with the Power Distribution Hub.
