Why is HP not contributing to this site?

David Matz -- Thu, 07/15/2010 - 06:27

One of the moderators on this site posted a link to HP's RMAF lecture where he brilliantly talks about how audio stores should have an iPod connector to get the younger generation to appreciate the high end.  Yet at the same time, HP does not see the value of interactively engaging with his readers.  Sure the magazine is pretty, smells good, and is nice to hold.  However, this is a new era of interactivity and he is missing the boat.   The readers have a much better experience if they can communicate with the experts as they are reviewing the products and ask follow up questions after they have experienced the products themselves.

It would be great if he would comment on his Editors Choice blog and on the "Burmester bling" thread, among others.  If it was his secretarty posting all of his blogs, please print it out and hand it to him, and encourage him to sign up to Avguide.com as he has so much to contribute.

An ongoing conversation and interaction with the customer is a key success factor factor as well!

I wonder when HP will let us all know about the Ortofon A90 Phono Cartridge that he has been using ?

Robert Harley -- Sun, 07/18/2010 - 20:29

Harry has just written an extensive, eight-cartridge survey for the October issue (mails late August) that includes the Ortofon A90.

Thank you, I'll look forward to reading that.
