i have Sonus Faber Grand Pianos Domus line and i am ready to take a hit and upgrade the amplifier section.
my list of choices narrowed down to these two:
Naim combo NAC122X+NAP150X for half of retail price nearly new (used only in hifi shop)
or
Vincent SV-236 Hybrid integrated with tubes for half of price (private use excellent condition)
i am an old school boy and still marvel at tube sections i used to run disco sessions back in 80s... but Naim was a pleasant surprise too.
Naim comes more expensive plus i have to think about perhaps taking their CD5X player while Vincent will swallow anything i am to throw at it.
i am deadlocked which one would be the best match for reaching purity sound, i am not analytical person for sound but having played myself and running discos i have pretty good ears. at the same time i want maximum stage effect that i can hear from concert monitors.
yep difficult but i do not want stretch my budget for more expensive gear at this point. besides i have only these two offers which give me 50% off.
please help
Vincent SV-236 Hybrid integrated or Naim NAC122X + NAP150X? please help
