Turntable upgrade

 I have recently upgraded my sound system with the Sonus Faber Liutos floor standing speakers combined with an Electrocomponet ECI-5 intigrated amp. I am using Transparent cables as well. My next step is to upgrade my turntable. I have been reviewing posts about all the higher end turntables and the more I research the more questions I have. I do not know much about this subject and would like some advise on what would work well with my new setup. My price point is modest at best, in the $4000 range. I do have a decent Creek phone preamp that I would like to keep in my system. I listen to mostly clasical rock and pop rock. Any sugestions would be appreciated.
