tube preamp to feed solid state power amp, or vv.

Hello

I am Currently using ML326s + 436s
I wonder , Can I also use Audio Research REF3 pre amp to drive ML436
or vice versa, Can ML326s drive Audio Research REF210 with successful
result sonically ?

How about electrical like input/output impedance matching between tube
and solid state gears? Possible technically ?

Why I want to do that, I don't know, just hope it may be a wonderful sounding combination.

Thanks

There should be no technical problem with either configuration. I've driven the ARC Reference 110 amplifier with a a Mark Levinson No.326S preamp, and thought it was a good combination. I've also driven a Mark Levinson No.433 with an Audio Research Reference 3 preamp.

hi.
That sounds interesting. REf3+ 436 may be a better way to enjoy ARC's
sound as REF3 costs a lot less than a pair of Ref210. And tubes life seem
longer.
Thank you Mr Harley.
