Tube Be or Not Tube Be

How about a Tube only Forum? & a Solid State only forum as well - I enjoy both but, just like other gear, sometimes I want to read and/ or discuss only one flavor. Just an idea. Also, how about a headphones only forum and possible a Accessories forum and maybe a place to swap, buy and/ or sell? Anyway...tell us your favorite tube equipment, favorite tubes etc. My only example thus far has been with the Antique Sound Lab amps and with the 6BQ5 tube - experimenting with swapping soon. I am amazed at how expensive the NOS EL84s can be (such as the Mullards).

Dear Nunh:

You can start your own topic on tubes, headphones, or whatever you like by posting and creating a new subject. I'd like to see a tubed section myself, as would others on the TAS editorial staff. You'll find quite a few tube afficianados among us.

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll definitely consider it. That said, the thing I'd like to avoid is to over-segmenting our Forum, to where users have to scroll down and choose from many categories to find the right "room" to post their questions.

I'm thinking we'll run a poll or a survey once our Forum is more populated. Until then, I'd like to hold off on adding more categories for now.

But do keep those suggestions coming! Thanks for your participation.
