Triode connected pentode.

-- Fri, 07/03/2009 - 04:10

I see a good number of triode connected pentode's integrated and power amplifiers on the market.
They use efficient and strong pentodes such as EL34, 6550, PL509, but they operate in push-pull mode. I don't remember any using parallel single-ended connection.
Yet that should combine low distorsion provided by class A and single ended operation with pentode's high power.
Could you point out a good parallel single ended triode connected pentode integrated or power amplifier? Thank you.
