Reading your recent article on tonearm mass & cartridge compliance.
I have several questions—how do I know my tonearm's efective mass, it is not indicated in the literature accompanying the turntable.
Cartridge compliance—is it dynamic compliance or static compliance?

The tonearm manufacturer should be able to supply the effective mass figure. The chart published in the magazine is for dynamic compliance.

Just don't forget to add the weight/mass of your cartridge to the weight/mass of the tonearm when you enter your numbers.
