The Most Realistic Sound

For your high resolution listening on a PC, what source do you feel gives you the most realistic sound?
1.  Sourced from an analog tape?
2.  Sourced from PCM?
3.  Sourced from DSD?
4.  Other?

In my experience, HD files (24 bit, 176k or 192k, PCM) sound the best. This assumes a good recording (a huge variable) and the computer audio setup to actually play those files.
