Marty Sheller's name is on so many of the recordings that I own, the fact that this is his FIRST recording speaks volumes. The band, to a man, plays it's ass off, really beautiful work. This isn't a Conga/Timbal/Cowbell recording but there's few musician's that understand and have a stronger pedigree in Latin Jazz than Marty Sheller.
