Teflon capacitors - where can they help ?

Many of you - by now - heard about the teflon capacitors being used in certain audio products. This would include the Conrad Johnson ART III and Audience power conditioners. My question: would these (apparently) breakthrough parts help solid-state preamps and power amps ? Or are they only good for phono stages and  tubed preamps.......
