If I had to choose a country chanteuse, I'll take Lee Ann Rimes. That gal has a set of pipes. Also she looks like an adult... :wink:

As is she is way too publicized. I glanced at my 14-year old niece's latest issue of Teen Cosmo (blessedly also their last issue as they are folding) and Taylor Swift was on every fifth page in either an ad or editorial...eee yuck (as my 14-yearl old would say...)
As is she is merely this month's Country "It" girl.
Try Celeste Krenz or Kelly Willis if you want country music with some substance.

Remember many years ago when Shelby Lynne and Faith Hill came out with their first big videos. Shelby had way more talent but Faith was the it girl!
