Surround format what.......

The high rez surround formats or more or less going by the wayside. I would have thought that given the baby boomers now have money to spend on SACD excs. that the record companies would put out the surround dics to squeeze out more money on old music. I know there may be royality issues but I would guess that could be over come. As an example I think the complete Steely Dan cataloge would be great. Any thoughts or suggestions?
