Subwoofer for Usher Be-718s

Nicholas.Bedworth -- Tue, 02/03/2009 - 01:38

Who's got suggestions for subwoofers that would be suitable for use with the Be-718s?

What's your price range?

Well, i got great results using the NOLA Thunderbolt. Usher is also working on introducing a "Powered Pedestal" for the Be 718's, with bass performance tuned to the Be 718's super fast woofer. Price should be in the $ 2,000 to $ 3,000 a pair range.

When will the Usher Powered Pedestal be available?

We do not have a firm ETA on them. I will let you know as soon as I do.

I use a couple of SVS PB13-Ultra box subs.  They sound great and match the finish of the Ushers.

Hello,
I heard a pair of Nola Thunderbolts with the Usher Be-718's at Brett Mesler's place in NJ called Audio 202. He is a great guy and very friendly and accomodating. They sounded great with them as they were tight, fast, articulate, dynamic, deep, lively, and disappeared with the Usher's without seams of blending problems. Great set up !!
Tom
