I HAVE A  KLIPSCH PALLADIUM P-39F  and now i buy a 1 SUBWOOFER (B&W ASW850).  This trio work much better!!!
My subwoofer crossover in 45Hz, i set up than using spectrum analyzer 1/6 and 1/24 octave "ToolBox". With grat results!

FOR LISTEN "MUSIC" IN MY HI-END ROOM IS BEST TO USE 1 or 2 SUBWOOFERS ??
2 IDENTICAL SUBWOOFERS or LITTLE DIFFERENT (like: different frequency curve) ??

If you plan to use a stereo feed and run stereo subwoofers, two would be what you'll need.

As to whether one will be enough for your room it depends on your room, the placement of the subwoofer, and how much low bass is "enough" for you.
