Strain guage and moving iron cartridges

I am in need of a new cartridge for my linn LP12 with lingo. I am using an exposure xi pre=amp.
I have become interested in the strain guage or moving iron cartridges by soundsmith, but Ican't go someplace and hear them. Has anyone heard them? If so what can you tell me. The other cartridge I would consider is the shelter 901.
