Squeezebox Server Doesn't Recognize All Music Files

My Logitech Squeezebox Duet server software (Version 7.4.1) doesn't appear to capture all of my songs. Windows Media Player Version 11 reports that I have 5604 songs on 754 albums on my sole music folder while the Squeezebox server says there are 5491 on 649 albums). Any explanations? I'm using Windows XP.

1. Have you done a complete "rescan" with SS?
2. If answer to 1 is yes, try uninstalling 7.4.1 totally (don't leave preferences etc ) and do a clean install. See if that helps.
Are all these songs 48/44.1 16 bit files?
If you have any higher rez music files the Duet will not see them since they are not supported by the Duet.
Did a rescan suggested by firedog solve the problem?

I have the same problem. Of my 13000 files 10 000 show up. The rest is impossible to locate for SS. Have tried reinstall and the do not have higer rez than 48/44. Any ideas?
