Speaker pairing with Musical Fidelity X-150

Does anyone have any recommendations for speaker pairing with the Musical Fidelity X-150/X-Ray combination? I would be interested in floorstanders in the $2500 range. Enjoy acoustic/rock. Thanks for the help.

I would suggest browsing through back issues of our former digital magazine AVguide Monthly * for some ideas (back issues are archived on this site).

* AVguide Monthly has since merged with The Perfect Vision.

Specifically, our reviewer Sallie Reynolds used the Musical Fidelity X-150 as her reference amplifier over the course of doing a series of speaker reviews for AVgM. You may be able to pick up some good suggestions there.

I've heard some great things from the Pro Ac Studio 140, a floorstander roughly in the that price range. I'd be sure to check them out before making a decision.
