Greetings all. I am in the planning stages of opening a bakery-coffee centric cafe. I am an audiophile (Marantz DV8400, Musical Fidelity A308, Revel F50s, Transparent cabling) and want to provide as much of that as I can to customers. Naturally, I am seeking wall or ceiling mounted speakers, either in-wall, on-wall, or bracket mounted. I need a system that will sound alive and provide as much wow-factor as possible at low to moderate listening levels. I have no pre-conceptions about anything (brands, technologies, tubes, transistors, etc.), so fire away. My budget is around $5000 to $7500. Thanks so much for your help.
There is ONE preconception. The front end will be digital, including some sort of iPod connectivity. Finally, I will likely patch into my cable company's free music stations once in a while. How horrible would that be sonically?
