SONY LCD or Toshiba DLP

I'm trying to decide between a Toshiba 62hmx95 DLP and a Sony 60 Grand Wega LCD. There's no comparison between the 2 pictures but the SONY is about $500.00 more. I'm also cocerned about the maintenance cost of the LCD vs. the DLP. I've read in different forums that the LCD colors will start to fade after only a couple of years and that the bulbs will have to be replaced in order to get the picture quality back to the original settings while the DLP will maintain the picture quality until the bulbs actually burn out.
The owner's guide of our Samsung DLP also indicates that the bulbs are user replaceable without much difficulty. We will probably look for a sale on one in a year or two just to have it on hand when needed. I have little knowledge of the LCD although our son has a Sony Plasma that has been a good performer.
