Sonus Faber Cremona M has arrived! Pics coming!

neil.gader -- Tue, 06/24/2008 - 09:34

The new Sonus Faber Cremona M was delivered yesterday. Arriving on a palette I plan to begin unpacking them in the next day or so. John Hunter of Sumiko, Sonus' NA distributor will be coming down from Berkeley on Thursday to optimize setup and give me the run down. I'll post a couple choice images then. Looks like a typically gorgeous Sonus Faber effort.

Hi, Neil.

When can we see those pics? And when is the review expected to come out? (or have I missed it already?)

Thanks.

HAF,

I'm in the midst of writing the review at this time, and have a lot of fun doing it. It should be published in Issue 188. As for the pics, thanks for reminding me. But, fact is I had a bit of a glitch with the digital camera, but I'll see what I can do.

Hi, Neil.

Thanks for your reply.
Having fun writing a review is quite often a good sign of a promising audio piece.

I'm looking forward for that review in particular, as those speakers figure along my buying shortlist. Unfortunately our timings are not entirely aligned as I'm buying the new pair of speakers in the next 15 days or so.

Anyway, that does not reduce my curiosity on your finding regarding the Cremona Ms, as it is not the circumstantial “buying condition” that commands my relation with audio.

Meanwhile, keep up the fun, "suck the marrow out of it" and if it turns out possible post some preview pics.

Thanks.
