Slim Devices Transporter

The specs say that "access point required for Wi-Fi". Since an access point, by definition, is connected to wired ethernet, I'm confused about how the Transporter is wireless. Or is Logitech just saying that the Transporter requires you to actually have a wireless network (Duh)?

As I understand it, the Transporter can access the internet and your home computer or server with an iTunes library via Wifi or Ethernet. For Wifi it does require a Wifi server or "access point" such as the Apple Airport Extreme.

Like all Slim Device products, the transporter can only access your home computer's iTunes library if that computer is actually turned on, but it can access the Squeeze center network anytime.
