Should I put heat shield over some part in ARC CD7 ?

Hi
     A modified CD7 and a CD8 put power supply tube horizontally above some capacitors.
and power feeder wires to the tube socket are also closed to the smaller tube behind.
     Should I use some kind of aluminum heat shield sheet to protect the wires and capacitors
from intense tube heat ? Also the transport area, should I use heat shield around that area?
