Yo Sheepherder -
This is Neburg964 from your old AWCC days. A bunch of us AWCC veterans are now at carfanatics.org and we would really, really love to have you join us. Automotive discussions just haven't been the same for years because we've lacked your input.
I would have PM'd you but this forum does not give the ability to do so
In any event, I am serious with my question - as a car nut, what would you recommend as the best automotive-themed movie out on DVD or Blu-Ray? I would love to get a fully remastered Blu-Ray version of "Gumball Rally" but sadly I think that's a pipe-dream.
What say you?
Ah, Sheepherder; you, sir, are legend to those of us who have been posting with Neburg and Casa since MT, having been told stories of your epicness at the old AWCC. Plenty of your fellow AWCC brethren from the glory days now call CF home, and hopefully, you will do the same someday... besides, we have a few sheep that could use your attention...
Anyway, back on topic: my top three are, in no particular order, The Dukes of Hazzard, The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift(both feature the driving talents of Rhys Millen), and Cars(Doc Hudson FTMFW!)
Come on over and visit us Sheepy.
Oh yeah, and there's no ****ing language filter at CF...
What's up?
I want to say that CF is a good forum. In a way it's like the famous AWCC. No forum mods, no problems that MT has.
As far as auto movies.. Gone in 60 Seconds. That movie was good!!
Fast and Furious (4th) and 2 Fast 2 Furious
Best auto movies Le Mans, Grand Prix, Hollywood Knights. Best car chases Ronin, French Connection, Bullit and the 2 most recent James Bond Flicks.
Fast and Furious movies all suck. Crapola for little boys driving ricers with coffe cans for exhausts. Only good thing was Eva Mendez. I here she is PETA supoorting vegan. I bet I can amke her a meateater and upset Messers Valin and Stone.
And don't forget o give rifles, handguns, full auto ARs, and shotguns and ammo for Christmas. Comrades Barry, Nancy, Harry et al want the SSA to resemble the EU. Don't let socialist like Valin and Stone fool you.

The 4th one was had more American cars, and actually had Chevy trucks, Camaros, Suburbans, a Mustang, Gran Torino, and a 69 Charger (For some reason, this car is the center of the story in the 4th one as 3 people drive it). It's not rice burners like the first 3.
Only Brian and Dom drove the Charger in the movie; Letty was only repairing it after it's wreck at the end of the first movie, much like Dom would later repair her Plymouth, as that was what he showed up with in his cameo at the end of Tokyo Drift(remember, the fourth takes place before and during the third)...
And how did you forget to mention the '70 Chevelle and Buick Grand National...?
What makes you think I don't eat meat?
And what makes you think I'm a socialist?
And what makes you think you know anything about me (that is actually correct)?
Ever see the movie "Blast Form The Past?" Alecia Silverstone has an excellent description of your discussion style early in the movie...
Best Car chase scene - "The Transporter"

Hey Sheepherder!
Thanks for responding - we were beginning to wonder. The website for CF is www.carfanatics.org. Trust me, you will receive a ticker-tape parade form us if you rejoin your flock. Cmicasa is a moderator there (can you believe that?) Anyway, please come say hello!
On another note, I'm not familiar with "Hollywood Knights"... I'll have to look that one up.

Not to mention it's always awesome to have an original Wolf return to the Pack...
And if we're gonna talk chases, too, then I gotta give shout-outs to both the freeway scene in "The Matrix: Reloaded" and the absolutely epic chase in the ORIGINAL "Gone In 60 Seconds"(no special effects; that's all the original '73 Mach 1 'Eleanor'...)...
