SF Concertino Domus

I am auditioning the SF Concertino Domus at home with a Krell 400xi and a Cambridge Audio 840C CD player.  This speaker might replace a pair of Totem Rainmakers (which I would move upstairs to an office system).  The SF are being discontinued, so the price has dropped.  Does anyone have experience with this speaker?  It sounds very musical, but a little veiled through the midrange, particularly as compared to the Rainmaker.  Any other thoughts in  bookshelf speakers for about $1,200?
