I've read your calibration article (and listen to your segments on Lab With Leo Podcasts). Thanks for all you do!
I have read lots about using calibration DVDs with LCD and Plasma - I guess the newer rear projectors too. I own a 6 year old 53" 1080i Pioneer SD532HD5 rear projector. And I'm wondering if my picture could be improved with this type of tool.
Do I need to do this?
You suggested Digital Video Essentials DVD in your "tutorial" I think. Do I need to get the latest version (HD DVD)? I do have a Toshiba A2 HD DVD player now.
Thanks again.
Jack
Using a disc like Digital Video Essentials can improve the picture produced by any TV, not just LCD or plasma. I do recommend using the HD DVD version on the HD-A2. I suspect this will improve the picture on your Pioneer RPTV.
