Room Calibration Cary Cinema 11a

Friends,
I am using Cary Cinema 11a and would like to know how can I use the room calibration feature manually. I have a Radioshack SPL meter and adjusted the sound from each speakers, inputted the closest distance from the listening spot.
I noticed, there is another feature for room calibration which I don't know how to use? What kind of tools I need to buy?
Two years ago, I saw a professional home cinema calibrator using his laptop to check the room response. It looked like waves and I would like to know what kind of software that I need to buy so that I can re-tweak my home cinema.
I also use Velodyne DD18 and it has its own proprietary room calibration system. How can I hook it up with Cary Cinema 11a to create a seamless configuration?
