Plasma reflection

I would like to purchase the Panasonic TH-58PX600U plasma TV. The reviews and the picutre I have seen are great. However, I have a room that is about 17' X 25' and it is well lit. The TV would have several windows behind it but none in front. Does this present a problem? I watch most of my TV at night and my only concern there is if lamps in front of the TV would be a distraction. In lieu of the plasma, my second choice is the 58" JVC rptv with HD-ILA and Lcos technology. (JVC Hd-58S998) This TV should not have the reflection problem. I will not be hanging these on the wall.
I would love to hear from somebody other than a sales person to help me through this dilemna. I'd love to buy the plasma but am afraid of the reflection. Thanks
