Paradigm Reference Studio 60 v.4

I recently listened to a pair of Paradigm Reference Studio 60 v.4 speakers and was impressed. The store was asking $1,400 for the pair. Does anyone have suggestions of other speakers in that price range (slightly more or even less if sound is good) that are worth auditioning?
I have heard of the Monitor Audio Silver RS6 which goes for approx. $999/pair. Can they be compared to the Paradigms?

The B&W 683 is a fantastic performer in that price range, although I'm sure the Paradigm is no slouch. While I'm not familiar with them, TAS has given favorable reviews to the Revel Concerta F12, Dali Ikon 6, and recently the Epos M16.

I have owned the original version of the Paradigm Reference Studio 60s and felt they were an excellent speaker. When I wanted to update my speakers I still liked the 60s but wanted something different. I selected the Monitor Audio RS 6 and I am thoroughly happy with them. The sound stage is deep and wide. The RS 6 may be a little brighter than the Paradigm 60s. The original fit and finish of the Paradigm were excellent but in my opinion have been cheapened in the new series. The fit and finish of the RS6 is outstanding and on a level with more expensive speakers.
For those interested, after auditioning B&W 683's, B&W DM's (I think - $2,000/pr.), MA Silver RS6's, & Paradigm Studio 60 v4, it came down to the Paradigm's & the Quad's. I ended up chosing the Quads. I absolutely love them. They are deep & wide and you can't beat the mids. The lows are tight & deep, rather impressive for a speaker of its size. It was the perfect choice. I would reccomend that anyone looking for a speaker in the $1K-$2K range that they listen, they are that good.
I'd love to hear the opinions of others who have heard them.
