Jonathan, since you're a fan of the Odyssey Khartago and the Maggie 1.7 speaker, I was wondering how you thought the 2 would work together?
Many thanks, S
Thanks, Jonathan. Think I'll give it a try. I had thought that it might not have enough juice to drive the 1.7s, but only because one hears so much about the Maggies being power hungry. (My listening space is large but not excessively so.) S
Yes, I see, I'm looking at the stratos, which might be appropriate. one way or another, I'll update you on how the well the combination works. Many thanks for tracking this.

I have a good friend who owns this very combination--and loves it.

Let me know how this works out. Odyssey makes bigger amps, too, you know.

I have 1.7s and was considering the Stratos monos too. What amp did you purchase and why?
Magnepan MG 1.7, Bryston 4B SST2, Wyred4Sound DAC-2, Kimber Kable 12TC and Hero, PS Audio Duets, Shunyata Venom 3, Toshiba laptop with J River 17 and Windows 7
Jon, where's the Khartago mono review promised since Issue 221? Are you the reviewer?
