Not so old versus new: Marantz AV8003 Vs. Marantz AV7005?

It's March, 2011 and I'm considering buying a new Marantz AV8003 via eBay from a dealer, but now the AV7005 is also available for about the same money. Is the AV8003 better in any respect or would I just be buying dated technology? What are the main diferrences between the two? What do you recommend?

AV8003 should sound better while the AV7005 may have more cutting edge features. The AV8003 decodes HD audio via HDMI and has room correction capabilities so I personally don't find its features lacking. Having said that, Michael Fremer just reviewed the AV7005 for Home Theater Mag and liked it enough to but the review sample.
