not receiving issues

 
I don't know if this is happening to anyone else but I am getting very fristrated and a little mad with The Absolute Sound and Hi-Fi Plus magazines.  I have been a subscriber to the Absolute Sound off and on since Issue 1.  All of a sudden I am not receiving my magazine.  I had to casll 2 times to get a copy of the Issue with the Vienna Acoustics on the cover.  When I called customer service to report that I have not received issue 168 they woukld send another.  After a few weeks still no magazine so when I called again they said they were out of the issue and were waiting for excess magazines to be returned to publisher and that may tak an additional 6-8 weeks.  Issue 169 is out on the market and I am inholding for that issue as well.  Funny thing is I have been told Stereophile and Absolute Sound are shipped from same publisher.  I have never had a problem receiving Stereophile.  Now I see I have missed the last 2 issues of HiFi Plus but their is no local contacts to talk to about that.  I want to repeat that I subscribe to a number of magazines and have never had an issue not received.  That is up until now and only The Absolute Sound and HiFi Plus.  While the customer service people have been very cordial, I find having to wait for issues to be returned an unexcusable way to handle this issue.  The last customer service rep offered to extend my subscription by 2 issues but I want the issues, not an extension.  Does anyone have any suggestion on what to do or ways to get these issues in the future?
