NHT ST4's

A friend wants to sell me a pair of   unused NHT ST4's - I am not familiar with them.

My system is of high quality but budget priced- Cambridge integrated amp 640 v2 with  75 watts, a NAD cd player  c525BEE and  a tuner.

I currently have a pair of Dahlquist monitor DQ9  speakers which I purchased in 1991 - they sound greta but I thought that I should buy new spakers to go with my new componets

I was planning to replace them with Monitor Audio Silver RS6's but I can get a good price on the NHT ST4's

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

I can't say anything specific to the ST4s, but I have a pair of SB3s (bookshelf) that are excellent for my smaller LR.  I have great respect for the NHT line going back to a pair of 1.8s I had back in the day with a Nak ST-2 receiver and OMS-1A CD.  For a college student, it was audio nirvanna!
