It looks like Sonus Faber will be launching their new flagship speakers, called the "Fenice", in Venice, very soon. They look massive, much bigger than existing models. Take a look at the following web site:

Simultaneously, Franco Serblin, Sonus Faber's brilliant designer, is launching his new speaker, the Ktema. What's happening? Is Serblin leaving Sonus Faber? Take at look at the following web site:

A follow up:
Each Fenice is 300 kg, for 600 kg pair.
The price is thereafter, around Euros 140,000 per pair.

Yeah, It's confusing. What is Ktema ? Is he leaving SF ? Just like Mr. Levinson left Levinson ?
"Just like Mr. Levinson left Levinson ?" There is a lot more to this!
Serblin left SF after the Stradivari according to someone who follows the biz closely. Expect the subsequent SF speakers to be the result of a much "harder" approach to audio design. Whatever that means.
Serblin sold the company to a Private Equity Group or people who own Audio Research as well.(in 2007 I guess)
