New Member with Speaker Questions

Hello everyone,

I'm considering several mini-monitors, among them the Epos ELS-3 and Usher S-520 as the basis of a surround system. I'll mention that my main system has Spendor SP2/3s to give an idea of the kind of sound I'm used to and prefer. The surround speakers will be used for surround audio as much or more as for video. I listen to classical music mostly, with some jazz and bluegrass.

I've read Chris Martens' review of the Usher S-520s, which makes several comparisons to the Epos speakers, and I'm wondering if anyone has further experience of the two speakers.
