New DAC or CD Player - Expert opinion please

I have pioneer DV667A universal player and a Denon - AVR3805 movie amplifier and JM Lab Chorus 715 Floor standers (also have Revolver RW25 center,RW16 rear and velodyne CHT8 subwoofer). I bought Musical Fidelity X10-V3 recently and the analog output of Pioneer going through X10-V3 to the Amp which improved the stereo audio quality. Need your expert opinion to improve the quality further. I am not sure which of the following could improve the audio quality 1) Musical Fidelity X-DACV3 2) Rega Appollo CD player or a similarly priced CD player.
