Just curious if anyone has seen any new/recent music-related DVDs that they thought striking. It seems that the concept, a surefire thing two years ago, has become victimized by oversaturation in that every artist under the sun is now releasing a DVD.
That said, along a more film-related music DVD front, I highly recommend checking out Michael Franti's "I Know I Am Not Alone," which captures his travels to Iraq and Israel to look at war from an upclose, unauthorized perspective. The film was celebrated at major festivals and is extremely sobering while managing to depict how music is indeed the one universal language we share.

I rather enjoyed Jeff Tweedy's "Sunken Treasure," and though it's more of a film, the Jonathan Demme directed "Heart of Gold" about Neil Young was likewise satisfying.
