Just recently received my new Aurum Cantus Leisure 3SE's and love them but i need some imput. Need a player in the 1500 to 2500.00 range. Also is it worth it to spend more for a good SACD Player? Thanks, Les
Is SACD a "dead" format or do you envision industry support for many years to come? I, too, am wondering whether it makes sense to spend the extra money on SACD capability but I don't want another Betamax machine on my hands.
There's a surprisingly large number of SACD titles on the market, particularly in classical. Check out www. SA-CD.net. They list every title currently available, as well as new releases.
Re:SACD
How much classical do you listen to? I think SACD is primarily worth it if you are into classical.
Check out the Cambridge Audio Azur 840C CD player at $1599 if you decide you can live without SACD playback.
