Monster Power Centers

I recently purchased a Monster HTS 1000 power center for my soon to be entertainment toys (I cold call it a system, but lets be seriouse...) How do the monster conditioners compare to similar items? Is monster just an overly marketed brand, or does it actually have the high quality products it boasts to have.
