MIT Magnum MA, spades or bananas?

I'm a happy owner of these amazing cables. Just wondering what's better.
My dealer told me to go;
Amp - spades -> MIT box -> bananas -> spades -> Speaker
Is spades (because of bigger surface) really better, or is it just a myth? If so, shouldn't I use spades on the MIT box also?

I have the Magnum MAs and prefer the spades even at the box. You can easily switch out the bananas and see (or hear) for yourself.

I switched to all spades today and suprisingly it IS better. Much more coming through. I'm suspecting that my dealer advised to go banana on the boxes is because it's really hard to get the spades tight on these connectors so there's more chance of something bad happening.

Spade lugs are always a better choice over banana, in my experience. They have more contact area and allow for greater pressure at the junction between the cable termination and the binding post.

Just got the confirmation of MIT too that spades all around sounds best.
