MediaReady 6000 - convergence of all media?

I found this company building a CD, DVD record playback, MP3, HD MPEG 2-4, ATSC tuners, internet browser, email support, VOIP video conferencing support, 200gb hard drive, etc all in one little box.

It would appear that the day of convergence at the TV is upon us.

Looks like they are just about to roll this out. It would be nice to see a review and see how this product fares under the scrutiny of the trained eye.

While you're there, check out www.mymediaready.com which is a portal to all kinds of content providers including news, weather, sports, etc so that you can access the latest and greatest from these affiliates at your convenience - not theirs.

Pretty interesting stuff.
