Hello !!!! I was wondering if anyone has auditioned this amp. Looked for reviews on line but couldn't find any, except some from China and Korea.
I am thinking about partenering this amp with the new ARC CD5, how woluld you describe its sound? Darker than the No. 436? More analytical? Is ML stirring away from their house sound? I also heard wonderful things also about their new No. 512 CD/SACD player, but I'm so enfatuated with the analog-like sound of the ARC CD5 that I don't see myself chaning it.
Thanks so much in advance for any feedback, dealers comments are welcome :)
This is a great sounding amplifier. Very smooth and open with very detail. The 436 was harsh in comparison. The needs a bit of a longer burn in but once it has settled it is truly a great sounding amp
Thanks for the reply. What are the rest of the pieces in your system? What cabling are you using?
Hi Willem. It is very hard to get some information about ML 532.How long do You have this amp.?I have Puccini cd pl.,ML 326s preamp. and B&W 802D speakers.Do You stil like the sound?
All my stuff are Mark Levinson, no 37 transport, no 36 DAC and 38S pre-amp with straight wire cresendo 2 speaker cabls and CZ gel inter connects. I use a Rives PARC attenuator for rom treatment and B&W 802D speakers. It is sounding exceptionally at a slightly higher volume to get the best out of the speaker.
Regards
Willem
