The No.53 has been reviewed in the second to last issue of the Japanese magazine Stereo Sound. Unfortunately I can't read Japanese, so I don't know what their conclusion was.
I heard a pair of these driving JBL Everest II loudspeakers at the JBL/Harman International facility in Northridge, CA. The combination was devastatingly superb, and it effectively ruined everything else. Now I have to save $110,000 so I can get the ML and JBL set.
Hi-Fi News opined that these amp were dry and analytical...overall review favorable but, at this price point, any meaningful reservation seems unwarranted...
Along those lines, i you're aware of any professional reviews, please share the links.
Tks !!
I don't think that they have been reviewed anywhere yet. The No.53 certainly looks like an interesting product and one that we should review.

There was a first review in Hi-Fi News (January 2011) from the UK.
Very interesting product.
