Mark Levinson CD Transport #37 - Error messages

Hi,
I would appreciate it if anyone who can help me in solving the error on my CD Transport.
It does not read any CD I put in and keeps displaying the error messages as follow:
"BAD SPIN, L ETOC"
Any suggestion for correcting this error?

Does this happen on every disc you try, or did this only happen once on one disc.
The only reason I ask is I also have the Levinson #37 and from time to time I would get the same message
"BAD SPIN" only without the rest of your error L ETOC.The L ETOC may be an indication that the laser is bad.
Whenever I got the BAD SPIN message,all I had to do is eject the disc,reset the disc and hit play.
The only other issue I had was an intermittant skipping,or silent for a second or two and I fould that cleaning
the laser lense fixed the problem.The real issue may be a weak laser,but any repair on these units will cost you
a minimum of $800.00 just to send it to one of the 2 Levinson auth.repair facilities.
