Look under reviews, you'll find them there.

Has anyone auditioned the 20.7 with a Devaliet D-Premier?

Has anyone compared the 20.7 to the 802 diamond? I suppose I must really travel, but there is a limited range of loudspeakers I can audition locally. My favourite hi fi shop, Sound Plus, has been closed and vacant far too long.

The local Magnepan dealer (Hi Fi Centre) stocks three Magnepan models (1.7, 3.6, 3.7) but does not display them, other than in their back hall.

I've only once seen the 1.7 in their worst (very small, quite noisy, bad door) listening room. It had good thunk - and rim-shots were quite live.

For my taste in music, they really could use a subwoofer (1.7) like the PV1. Driving gear was mid-end NAIM.

Anyone here got NCore amplifiers, btw?

I would get the Devaliet if it could drive the Stax 009 headphones direcly, lol, but I'm still looking for decent speakers! :D

Listening to and oogling the Sennheiser Orpheus headphones when they first came out was a transcendant experience for me, as was the Duntech Soverign 2001 loudspeaker.

Looking for updated and improved setups to compare to those two reference points.

I'd really like to check out the Avantgarde Trio, MBL 101 Extreme, Sanders Sound System 10c, and top-line Focal Utopia.
