Luxman vs. Esoteric cd players?

It is hard to find information about the performance/sound of the new Luxman cd players.  It is not possible to audition them in my city.
I imagine that Luxman and Esoteric compete at different price points in the Japanese market.  The Luxman D-06 is similarly priced to the well regarded Esoteric X-05.
Has anyone seen and heard the Luxman D-06 and compared it to the Esoteric X-05?
